Carolines was founded in 1971 by Elsie Hughes, and her family still run the business today.
She started with a single shop in Wrexham’s Central Arcade and quickly grew to a second shop in Wrexham and a third in Oswestry, which is still open today.
In 1999 we took over a wholesale bakery in Shropshire and now we have six delivery vehicles.
Today the business is run by Elsie’s grandson, Mark, while Mark’s parents Peter and Mary, brother Paul and uncle Philip Lynch are all directors.
